In the FieldThere’s something that pops up in a quiet Moorhead neighborhood during the summer. Dozens of American flags stand tall in a single yard. It’s a striking visual. Behind that display is a man with a lot of love for his country. Now he has plans that stretch well beyond the sidewalk in front of his house.
I try several varieties of crickets available at the Bug Ology exhibit at the Red River Valley Fair. They were pretty good!I share the story of the man who was the youngest world yo-yo champion in history. This building takes your breath away, and not just because there's no heat yet and it was 15 degrees when we went there. We toured a schoolhouse that's been largely ignored for nearly 50 years. But two women are working to turn it into a destination for people around the world.
We take our Pet Connection segment out into the community at a Meet the Puppies event for Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue and introduce you to a momma and two puppies who need a fur-ever home.
This story is deeply personal. Here is how I lost more than 100 pounds, found a new lease on life and made new friends.
I didn't think I could do this. But I did. I hope this shows that change is possible for anyone if they have the right help and a little motivation. A Fargo man wants to show that former criminals aren’t castoffs. He’s dedicated to showing the value, determination, and hustle of felons while helping them rebuild their own lives right here in our region. His efforts are getting noticed more and more, and more and more people are claiming he’s helping to save their lives.
